Hey Look Alex! I finally got this done!

Hey Everyone!

Before Alex can say "I told you so...." I learned a lesson about blogging and that's to not wait so long between posts because now I have so much news I really don't know where to begin...

So let's get to it:

Things are really cooking up in the heat of the summer @ Alexohol! Here's a quick update on what's new and news for August!

CALLING ALL HUNTERS!

We're thrilled to be taking part in 4 hunts that all started on August 1st! Stop by our mainstore and click on the signs that are lining the front entrance for starting locations of The Satisfashion Hunt, Fall Fun Hunt, Search for the Black Pearls & the Poppy Hunt! Our gifts are tucked neatly inside the store, not super easy to find but really not all that hard either! I love to hunt and see new places to shop but I hate having to look in every single nook and cranny to find the treasure. All the ogranizers have done a great job getting these exciting grid wide hunts ready to go! AND, we've made both girls AND guys gifts for all the hunt, so bring your guys along too! If you haven't started the hunts yet, here is a sneak peek at some of the cool ladies outfits we've made available!!!

Above left: Women's Search for the Black Pearl gift. Right: Women's Satisfashion gift (there is a 50L charge for the VIP pass necessary for the Satisfashion hunt. Random hunt tip, brought to you by our manager Ema... Lose all the bling and the prim attachments you can prior to setting out. We all know how laggy it can get when you're bouncing between all the sims and reducing your Avatar Rendering Cost can make a huge difference in getting things to rezz faster for you while you hunt. To see your ARC: Advanced--> Rendering--> Info Displays--> Avatar Rendering Cost-- Select. You'll see a number hover right over your head. I try to get mine under 500 or so to go out and about. You can get it lower still but I'm vain and I'm not taking off my heels or wearing ugly hair.

OTHER FUN THINGS WE'RE DOING!

Some of you know that I'm proud to be a Princess in the Tiny Empires Kingdom of Heaven! Alex and I have been working with Queen Angeleyes to design and offer an exclusive line of tanks and tees to be sold in the Kingdom to support the Kingdom as well as the charity work that is done with Relay for Life! The first shirts should be available this coming week!

Like Kylie said earlier, this past month or so has been RIDICULOUS! We've gone through so many mistakes and errors in it, that it's been tough to keep our heads straight sometimes. But nonetheless, we're still here making stupid first timer mistakes! Our friends have been keeping us going through it all. I swear I almost had a heart attack when I got the "we're sorry but the sim is closing" IM. If it hadnt been for Kylie's "Alex, calm down right now" Emails, Id have probably been a sobbing mess. I swear, it may only have been a month, but this shop is so close to my heart.

That being said, I've been crazy busy making ANOTHER new line of clothes! We've expanded our Military gear line substantially, and it's available at BOTH the US Military Vets center and of course, at our Mainstore in Vanilla sky. Kylie and I are both extremely excited for this shop, as we both are very close to and supportive of our Military. My RL bf is in the Marine Corps, and Kylie is a Military Brat (please emphasize BRAT). (ed. Note. Kylie would prefer to be known as a Squid Kid. However, I have informed her that always being *wet* does not qualify!) That being said, I'm proud to roll out a few previews of our New Line!



Our first look is our sexy Air Force Bikini! As with most of the new line, this is available in all of the branches of the military!



Secondly, Here's a first look at our Bootie shorts, shown here in the Army version! (Also available in Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy, and Marine Corps versions)

Hey guys, I'm Alex. I'm a shop-oholic, Sl-oholic, and so many other thing-oholics too. I'm not really sure what possessed me to start this blog....mostly because I like to wear pretty things and buy things, and I'm trying to take pretty pictures. So why not do all three? I'm not a fashion expert, I'm not a fashion guru subscribed to every fashionista group there is in SL. I'm just Alex from Ohio....I like to shop on SL, I'm a dancer at Heaven n Hell (Come Visit), & I like to just be with my friends.
